SIMCom’s SIM7020C Certified by Guangzhou Research Institute of China Telecom Co., Ltd.

SIMCom’s SIM7020C module recently passed the test performed by the Guangzhou Research Institute of China Telecom Co., Ltd, thus laying a sound foundation for being listed as a Telecom supplier.

The SIM7020 Series is a multiple frequency band NB-IoT wireless communication module in which SIM7020C supports the B1/B3/B5/B8 bands for the domestic market and SIM7020E supports the B1/B3/B5/B8/B20/B28 bands for the European market.

 

With 42 PIN LCC encapsulation, the SIM7020 series is the smallest NB-IoT module among the current range of global products of the same size (17.6 X 15.7 X 2.3mm), making it especially suitable for the design of various compact products.

 

The SIM7020 series is encapsulated for compatibility with the SIM800C module to enable users to upgrade smoothly, and speed up customers’ product launches by shortening their R&D period as much as possible.

 

Being the optimal solution for applications with low latency, power consumption and throughput thanks to its stable performance, small size, high performance-price ratio and extremely low power consumption, the SIM7020 series modules meet various demands from customers, making it especially applicable to IoT applications such as smart meters, remote control systems, asset tracking, remote monitoring, telemedicine, and bike-sharing.
